JALBTCX at Stennis, MS has tasked the Spatial Data Branch to speed and ease the editing process for classifying shorelines in ArcMap® as classifying hundreds of shoreline miles at a time is a cumbersome and time-consuming process. The ESRI ArcMap software contains numerous native and custom features that allow the user to edit, navigate, and view maps. The staff uses several of these tools, but navigating through the many steps of these tools as well as avoiding unneeded tools and features in ArcMap poses an undue burden on their time and Corps resources.
